Why the liberals are going to end this great nation.

• Iraq's noncompliance with the conditions of the 1991 cease fire
• Iraq's weapons of mass destruction, and programs to develop such weapons, posed a "threat to the national security of the United States and international peace and security in the Persian Gulf region"
• Iraq's "brutal repression of its civilian population"
• Iraq's "capability and willingness to use weapons of mass destruction against other nations and its own people"
• Iraq's hostility towards the United States as demonstrated by the 1993 assassination attempt of former President, George H W Bush and firing on coalition aircraft enforcing the no-fly zones following the 1991 Gulf War
• Iraq's alleged connection to terrorist groups, including Al Qaeda
• Fear that Iraq would provide weapons of mass destruction to terrorists for use against the United States
Okay, i get tired when i hear the term "illegal war." How is this war illegal? The constitution gives congress this power:
"To declare War, grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal, and make Rules concerning Captures on Land and Water" Article 1, section 8.
Okay, so congress can declare war. So lets say, they voted for a resolution to declare war on iraq...what if the us senate voted 77-23 for war, and the house voted 296-133-3. okay, id say that passed. Now lets look deeper into what was voted for. I read over H J Res. 114. One part of it really caught my attention.
Authorization.--The President is authorized to use the Armed Forces of the United States as he determines to be necessary and appropriate in order to-- (1) defend the national security of the United States against the continuing threat posed by Iraq; and (2) enforce all relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions regarding Iraq.
WHOAH, this war is illegal, i mean he was only give the authority to do what is necessary to protect the US....

These pompous liberal scum should read up before they say the war is illegal, the only thing that is illegal is the poaching of liberals, but with gods will, and my mind, we will make that legal!
